About us
Your pet care giver Sylvia Riggin originates from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where she attended Philadelphia School of Interior Design. While living in the Philadelphia area her love of animals began. She lived on a farm in Flourtown, Pa where she learned to care for horses, cows, pigs and an assortment of cats and dogs. She smiles with a tear while remembering one of her favorites, her red "Dobbie" named Cindy who grew up with her 3 children in the Valley Forge area of Pennsylvania where Sylvia had an Interior Design Center.
Upon relocating to the east coast of Florida Sylvia opened Marco Home Decorating Center. She and her family always had an assortment of pets there that included cats, dogs and birds. Sylvia's veterinarian while she was living on Marco Island, Dr. David Randall of Naples, Fl., once made the comment to some clients and care givers at his animal hospital that " If I have a choice what I want to come back as, it will be one of Sylvia Riggin,s pets". Quite a compliment from such a prominent veterinarian.
Sylvia has since relocated to Lake Murray, SC where her other half, Chad, is employed. With a vast experience and love of pets Sylvia is glad to help with your pet care when needed. Chad and Sylvia are now the proud parents of 3 beautiful cats, a short haired exotic named Smokey, a Chinchilla Persian named Sterling Silver and a sweet cream point Himalayan named Rusty.
Sylvia's passions have always been her homelife, her pets and her Interior Design business along with a knowledgeable experience in Culinary arts. Now that the Design business is sold she has decided to turn her love of pets into a full time venture. She will share her love, knowledge and reliability into "Lots of Love Pet Sitter", caring for pets so their families can feel comfortable while they are away from home. We have attemped to give an outline of our services, however if you have unusal cercumstance give us a call so we can accomadate you.
